Sobha Facade provides appropriate designs that work with the architect’s aesthetic perspective while meeting technical requirements. All primary requirements for a sustainable facade system are taken into account while conceptualizing a design. After detailed structural, thermal, and acoustic calculations, each facade system is created, assisted by advanced hardware and software technology.
With advanced, state-of-the-art technologies, including 3D modeling software and 3D printers for prototyping, we ensure each component is designed with the utmost precision to satisfy client requirements, all the critical factors such as Structural, Thermal and Acoustic calculation are carried out thoroughly in the design process.

SYSTEM DESIGN
Selecting a suitable system is a critical point in the life cycle of a project. Aesthetic designs fail without a backing suitable system design. The facade system designer transforms the architects’ visual concept into a practical, concrete system of components.
Sobha Facades knows how vital a well-designed system is in the overall performance of the project. We design our systems to ensure harmony between the architect’s concept and the building’s structural sustainability.
DETAILED DESIGN
Shop Drawing
While the system design focuses on how the individual components fit together in the overall Aluminum system, the shop drawing designs specify how the system is applied in the architects’ design to complete the task.
The shop drawing is prepared, incorporating all the necessary details needed by the client, architect, and contractor. The design either done in 2D or 3D and is shared with the relevant stakeholders. We understand that delivered products should be ready to install instead of production ensuing on site.
Fabrication Drawing
Fabrication drawing transforms the shop drawing to machine language. Sobha Facades uses the most advanced software to communicate with our CNC machines. With a team dedicated to fabrication drawings, production is assured of starting without any holdup.
System
Our system design process has equal contribution from major departments, such as system design, shop drawing, fabrication, material engineering, continuous engineering and the execution team. Together, they have developed an efficient system using 2D and 3D modelling and structural softwares to ensure that the basic design is flawless and meet client requirements.
Prototype
After the preliminary design is completed, we use a state-of-the-art 3D printing technology to print the various components of the system. This ensures that the components fit together like a puzzle and we are able proceed to die cutting without any design flaws.
Mockup & Testing
Once the prototyping is successfully completed, the design is sent to the extruder and with subsequent R&D, the final profiles are received. The system is further tested to eliminate any flaws and to confirm the required performance. Upon successful completion, the system is finally ready for large-scale production.
